ONLY THE FIRST 2 MATCHES ON FEB 9 WILL BE PLAYED IN SCRIPPS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL AT THE SAME TIMINGS.

DIRECTIONS TO SCRIPPS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL :
Directions from I-805 freeway:
Go East on Mira Mesa Blvd. At the end, turn right onto Scripps Ranch Blvd. Take a
right onto Scripps Lake Drive (should be the second light). Take a left on Trena
Street at the stop sign. It will lead you to the school (dead end). Park inside the
school parking lot. The field is a short walk from there.

The Other matches will be played as announced before at the Mira Mesa Recreation Center as mentioned below.

MIRA MESA RECREATION CENTER. (Note that this is different from Mira Mesa High School grounds).

DIRECTIONS: From I-805, go east on Mira Mesa Blvd. Take a left on New Salem Street (after Camino Ruiz).
The field is on the left side, at the intersection of Mira Mesa Blvd and New Salem.

FEE: $150 per team, ($75 for SDSU students team).

TOURNAMENT RULES :

• No LBWs or Leg byes.
  
• Wides / No balls will be penalized with extra runs (1 for each) in addition to any runs taken.
  
• Wide calls should be very lenient. Further, wides outside the off stump should be more lenient
  than wides outside the leg stump.
  
• CHEST high full toss is a no-ball. Waist high full toss is legal. Captains take note of this.
  
• Each side is allowed a maximum of 30 per innings.
  
• A maximum of 11 players can field at any given time. Any extra fielders should sit outside the
  field.
  
• Everyone gets to bat.
  
• When 11 wickets are down, then the innings is considered complete.
  
• The last player does not get to bat, even if the second team has less than 11 players.
  
• The winner of each game will get 2 points and the loser none. In case of tied scores, each team
  gets 1 point. (Number of wickets lost does not matter).
  
• Games will be played with taped tennis balls (two layers of tape) and a pronounced seam
  (4 rounds). If the tape comes off during the game, ball should be replaced.
  
• Any bowler can bowl a maximum of 6 overs in a 30 over game.
  
• Any bowler can bowl a maximum of 5 overs in a 25 over game.
  
• Unfinished games (bad weather, rain, etc) will be declared as drawn games. Each team gets 1 point.
  
• The distance between the two wickets shall be 62 feet. A measuring tape should be used to mark
  the length of the wicket. Wickets should be properly aligned in a straight line.
  
• Boundary circle will be decided before the start of the first game by the two captains.
  
• The team with the highest number of points in each pool advances to the final game. Only one team
  advances to the final from each pool.
  
• In case of a tie in the number of points, net run rate is used to select the winner.
